The lodges at The Johnstown Estate were beautifully designed with calming taupe colors and comfortable beds and couches. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily access the hotel for amenities like the pool and breakfast. The restaurant at the hotel, Coach Inn, had excellent food and a great kids menu. The nearby Lullymore heritage center was also a great place to visit with its pet farm and playgrounds.
One very specific situation that happened to us was the shower temperature being too hot. However, the hotel quickly sent someone to fix the issue and he was able to adjust the temperature easily.

The Johnstown Estate Lodges were beautifully decorated, with a touch of Georgian splendor that made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The general areas of the hotel were spacious and elegant, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was, with wide hallways and ramps that made it easy for me to navigate with my walking cane. It was a comfortable and welcoming environment for all ages.
I would have asked for a better vacation for senior people if the children working there were more attentive and helpful.

The hotel's decoration was simply lovely, with its elegant Georgian style and modern touches. The general areas were comfortable and spacious, making it easy for a senior like me to navigate. I especially appreciated the accessibility features, such as ramps and handrails, which made it convenient for me to move around the hotel.
It would have been even better if the children working there were more knowledgeable about local attractions and could provide better recommendations for senior-friendly activities.

The location, close to the hotel, was convenient. The lodge's new design and comfortable beds and couches were perfect for a relaxing stay. The nearby playground and Lullymore Heritage Centre added to the enjoyment of our family break. We can't wait to return to this amazing place.

We recently stayed at a hotel with lodges for our family getaway. the location was convenient, close to the motorway and with easy access to nearby attractions. the lodges were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and couches. the kids club was a highlight, offering daily activities such as baking, swimming, and trips to the playground. the spa was also top-notch, with friendly staff and excellent facilities. We especially enjoyed the beautiful design of the newly renovated lodge we stayed in.
The lack of spare bedding for the sofa bed and the stuffy heat in the room. some staff at the pool were not as accommodating as we had hoped.

They have a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The complimentary internet access was a great bonus for staying connected with our friends and family.
The only thing we didn't love was the size of the swimming pool, but that's just our personal opinion. Others might still enjoy it.

The guest rooms at The Johnstown Estate Lodges are absolutely gorgeous! I felt like I was staying in my own little cozy oasis. The complimentary internet access was a nice bonus too.
Personally, I found the fully-equipped kitchens in the self-catering apartments a bit overwhelming. But hey, that's just me!
